Ingredients

Serves : 15
  • 400 gms mawa


  • 1/2 cups butterscotch pearls


  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 1 cups powdered sugar


  • 1/4 tsp elaichi powder


  • 1/2 tbsp pistachews

Directions

  • Grate maawa.
  • Crush butterscotch pearls coarsely. And keep some pearls uncrushed.
  • In a wok add ghee melt it and add maawa into it.
  • Saute till it melts.
  • Add powder suger in it. Also add elaichi powder and mix well.
  • Cook till sugar melts.
  • Add crushed pearls into it and mix well.
  • Cook for 1 to 2 mins.
  • Off the flame and transfer it into greased plate or tray.
  • Sprinkle uncrushed pearls and chopped cashew nuts over it and press gently with the help of spatula.
  • Let it set for 1 to 2 hrs, after that cut it into desired shape and size.
  • Butter Scotch Burfi is ready to serve and enjoy!!!!
